HUNERS FITNESS ADVANTAGE, is a PRIVATE FITNESS STUDIO in PORT JEFFERSON, NY, specializing in INDIVIDUAL and SMALL GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING, owned and operated by Eric and Nanci Huner. Eric and Nanci’s professional careers have exclusively been in the fitness industry, each with over 30yrs experience.

NANCI HUNER, BS Anthropology/University of Oregon, has managed multiple gym facilities, excelling in membership sales and holding additional titles such as director of personnel, aerobic instructor, yoga/stretch instructor and personal fitness instructor. NANCIS focus at HUNERS FITNESS ADVANTAGE is running and teaching all yoga, stretch/balance, abdominal and aerobic classes. All of these classes are held at the PORT JEFFERSON VILLAGE CENTER. ERIC HUNER, BS BIOLOGY/SUNY STONY BROOK, 50credits MS NUTRITON/CW POST, REGISTERED DIETITIAN (RD) and a PERSONAL TRAINER accredited through NCSF, NATIONAL COUNSEL ON STRENGTH AND FITNESS. Personally training clients for 30yrs, Eric has over 50,000 training sessions behind him. Degrees in both BIOLOGY and NUTRITION, in addition to extensive experience has allowed him to better teach and understand how to accommodate for physical injuries that people acquire over time or from accidents. Selective training, optimum body mechanics, nutrition/meal planning and knowing how to tweak exercises for the individual, will allow clients to strengthen, rehabilitate and better themselves to their best version ever.
